Nurse Talking to Patient

This introductory course in injectable aesthetics is designed for healthcare professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of neurotoxins and dermal fillers as a way to expand their service offerings and bolster revenue at their practice. The course provides hands-on training in the administration of these popular injectables, as well as an overview of facial anatomy, patient assessment, and safety considerations.

Neurotoxins, such as Botox Cosmetic, are used to relax the muscles that cause wrinkles and fine lines to form on the face. In this course, participants will learn proper injection techniques for various areas of the face, including the forehead, glabella, and crow's feet. Participants will also gain an understanding of dosage and dilution calculations, as well as potential adverse reactions and how to manage them.

Dermal fillers, such as hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite, are used to restore volume to the face and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Participants in this course will learn about the different types of fillers available, their indications and contraindications, and proper injection techniques for specific areas of the face. They will also learn how to assess patients' individual needs and determine the most appropriate treatment plan.

Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to practice injection techniques on live models under the guidance of experienced instructors. Participants will also learn about patient selection, informed consent, and documentation requirements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have a solid foundation in the administration of neurotoxins and dermal fillers and will be able to integrate these treatments into their practice. Participants will receive a certification acknowledging completion of the course that can be displayed in their facility.
